Privacy policy

The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of Samsoft’s services is subject to the terms of this Policy and the relevant provisions of Greek and European Law (Law 2472/1997 as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Personal Data Protection Committee, Presidential Decrees 207/1998 and 79/2000 and article 8 of Law 2819/2000 and directives 95/46/EC and 97/66/EC).

Samsoft reserves the right to modify the terms of the privacy policy after informing the visitors / users and within the existing or potential legal framework. If any visitor / user does not agree with the terms of collection, protection and sharing of personal data provided by the current policy, they must not use Samsoft’s services.

Information we collect

In order to be able to offer the best user experience to each visitor of our website and user of our services, we use various anonymous information such as e.g. the language preference of your browser.

While browsing the Samsoft website, we will not ask for or automatically collect any personal information. We will only need personal data to complete certain actions such as communication, expressing interest in services, or completing a service purchase.

Information and personal data

When you fill out a form, for example to contact us or request a quote, we need some personal information. The information we collect is detailed in the following subsections. These data are kept for a period of at least 12 months. The details of the customer record (contact details and tax details) are kept for the entire period of cooperation with Samsoft and are deleted after three (3) months from the final termination of the cooperation.

Contact & expression of interest forms

When you contact us through the contact form or through the form provided on the service pages, you must fill in your name and e-mail address. In the case of the callback request form, you should also fill in the phone number where you want us to call you. These details as well as additional details that you will fill in (contact text, date and time of call request), are sent via e-mail (e-mail) to the Samsoft staff, and are kept on file for your better service.

Details for checkout of services

To complete the purchase of services, we will ask you for your name, address details (street, number, city, postal code), contact telephone number, e-mail and the type of document you want (invoice or receipt). In the case of issuing an invoice, you must provide us with your company details, specifically the name, VAT number, VAT number, activity and company address. These data are collected for tax purposes.

Information we collect when you visit our website

When you visit the Samsoft website, we automatically collect anonymous information about which sections of our website you visit, and how you interact with our content. This information helps us improve our services and provide the best possible user experience, and includes:

Device information

We want to know if you are using a fixed or mobile device to visit our website, and we collect some information such as device model, operating system, internet service provider (ISP), etc.

Logging of visit information

When you visit our website, we automatically collect information about your activity and interaction with our content, such as your IP address, date and time of your visit, pages viewed and cookies that can identify the type and version ) of your browser.

Location information

To provide content in your language, we collect information about your location (at the country level), and your browser’s language preferences.

Cookies

Cookies are files that are stored on your computer and can be permanent or temporary (session). Permanent cookies are kept on your hard drive even after you have completed your visit to the website, and contain various elements that identify you and are used for your next visit to the same website. Temporary (session) cookies are kept exclusively for the duration you are on the respective website and are usually used only to identify you and not to ask you for a password on all pages that include data transaction.

At Samsoft we use cookies to offer you easy, fast and personalized navigation (e.g. website display in your language). We also use cookies to collect statistics about how you interact with the content on our pages.

If you have chosen not to use cookies, we will only use cookies that are absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of the website (current language and option to use cookies) and only for your current visit (session).

Third party vendors, including Google, may display Samsoft advertisements on other websites on the Internet. For this reason, Samsoft and third party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to update, optimize and display advertisements based on the user’s previous visit to the Samsoft website as well as repeat actions marketing (remarketing).

How we use the information we collect

We use the information we collect to maintain the quality and improve our content and services, as well as to develop new services. Also, when you contact us, we log the communication, in order to identify and resolve any issues you may experience.

Information sharing

Personal information originating from you is accessible only by authorized Samsoft personnel and is maintained in a customer relationship management system (HubSpot CRM).

Your name and e-mail address are registered automatically or manually in the SendInBlue e-mail marketing platform, and are used for communication and marketing purposes.

Anonymous information collected automatically during your visit and used for statistical purposes and to improve our services is sent to the Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook and Hotjar platform.

All the personal data you declare on the Samsoft website are used exclusively by the authorized staff of Samsoft, EETT and ΙΤΕ, or companies collaborating with it, for the purpose of supporting, promoting and executing the transactional relationship.

The visitor/user can contact the Samsoft support department, in order to verify the existence of the personal file, to correct it, to download it, or to delete it.

Customer details are communicated to the competent judicial, police and other administrative authorities upon their legal request and in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions. The customer has, within the framework of telecommunications privacy legislation, the rights of information and objection provided for in articles 11 to 13 of Law 2472/1997.

Policy applicability

This Policy applies to all services offered by Samsoft, excluding services that have separate policies that do not incorporate the current Policy. This Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or websites that may appear or link to our services or content. This Policy does not cover the information collection and use practices of other companies or organizations that advertise our services, and that may use cookies, pixel tags or other technologies to deliver relevant advertising and more generally personalized content.
